What is PPC

Curious about PPC? Discover how our top-notch PPC services can drive more customers to your High Wycombe business and boost conversions. PPC, or Pay-Per-Click, is a paid advertising method that places your ads at the top of search results, labeled as “ad.”

Getting started is simple. Choose keywords that align with your target audience’s search queries. When users type in those keywords, your ads will appear in the search results. The best part? You only pay when someone clicks on your ads, not for impressions.

Set your maximum bid, which determines the amount you’re willing to pay per click. This way, you control your budget and invest in valuable leads. Rest assured that your ads will only display to an interested audience actively searching for what you offer.

With PPC, you’re in control. Your maximum bid and quality score determine the placement of your ads within search engine sponsored links. Position yourself above the competition and attract the attention of your target audience.

About High Wycombe

High Wycombe, often referred to as Wycombe is a large market town in Buckinghamshire, England. Lying in the valley of the River Wye surrounded by the Chiltern Hills, it is 29 miles (47 km) west-northwest of Charing Cross in London;
Area: 125 sqm
Postal Code: HP13
Hotels: 2-star averaging £34, 5-star averaging £139
Local Time: Monday 2:58pm

Brief history of Wycombe

High Wycombe has been home to laborers as far back as Roman times, but it wasn’t until Saxon times that the area truly became an important part of England. They used High Wycombe as an important stop on their way to Buckingham Palace, which is now the main residence of the British Monarch. High Wycombe has been part of an important route that connected London and Oxford since before records were even kept.

Before being known as High Wycombe, this town was also called various different names throughout history, including Wendover and Dorney. The name of High Wycombe first appeared during the 13th century in reference to the main road that ran through the town. In the 20th century, High Wycombe became part of a new town in Buckinghamshire known as Wycombe. The old name for this city is Wendover, which was used during the time when it was a market town in medieval times.

The first major industry in High Wycombe began during Georgian times through the furniture trade. Furniture was built by cabinet makers in High Wycombe, with all of the hardwood coming from Buckinghamshire itself. This furniture was shipped to London via the Great Western Railway line that still runs through High Wycombe today.

Another major part of High Wycombe that still stands now is the Great Central Railway. This railway runs through High Wycombe at about 100 yards away from Queensmere shopping center before moving on toward London. The railway itself was the first mainline railway in the United Kingdom. It has been used as a connection between London and Manchester since its opening, but only stopped carrying passengers during the Beeching Axe of 1963, or about 50 years ago. The railway continued to carry freight for another decade before it came to an end; however, there are plans to reopen this railway as a major route for transportation. It is already used to transport goods between London and the Midlands today.
